My dear Surovi,
How are you? I am passing my days quite well. This is to say thanks for your last email. I am very glad to know that you are keenly interested to know
about the prize giving ceremony of our school.
Last Monday our school's prize giving ceremony was held (অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল). It was a
very enjoyable (উপভোগ্য) and interesting one. It was held in our large school auditorium (মিলনায়তন).
The chief (প্রধান) guest (অতিথি) took his chair at the right time. At 4 p.m. the ceremony was
begun (শুরু হল). Our Headmaster read out the final report. The winners received prizes
from the chief guest by turns (পর্যায় ক্রমে). I personally (ব্যক্তিগতভাবে) got two prizes for good result and
modesty (বিনয়/ভদ্রতা). The ceremony was finished with a cultural (সাংস্কৃতিক) function. Really (সত্যিকারে) it was a
cheerful (আনন্দদায়ক) ceremony.
